Henry Brown, Colored, a well known farmer near Wrens, Ga. while in Spread, Ga. was attacked by a stroke of paralysis. He fell while he was at the post office and was carried to his home in a wagon on Hay. Dr. Roney says he will not live.
John Raymond, a negro who is a saloon porter at Padgett's Saloon on Broad Street, Augusta, Ga. dropped dead yesterday 9-22-1903, in the saloon where he was working. He was in good health up until then. Dr. Tessier examined Raymond and pronounced the attach a congestive chill, which suddenly checked the heart's palpitation. Raymond had not been drinking.
