Wit: Anthy Neal, David Neal. Recorded 4-7-1796.

Warren County, Georgia Deed Book A; Pages 169-170 4-22-1793, John Barton of Wilkes County, Georgia, to Robert Barton, of same, for 30 pounds, a tract of land 150 acres, being part of a 300 acre grant to John Barton 9-31-1787.  John Barton (Seal). Recorded 5-21-1796.

4-13-1911 - The case of Julia Barton vs. The Charleston and Western Carolina Railroad for damages for the death of her husband, the late Anthony Barton.  Note: Anthony Barton died Jan 1910.

Bell Barton Williams, wife of George T. Williams died 12/1/1960; daughters, Vivian Ivey, Lucy Belle Morris and Talitha Clark; sister, D. H. Landram.

Robert Lee Stapleton, died 2/1/1965 in Burke County, Georgia; son of James W. Stapleton and Burmah Barton Stapleton (Jefferson County,Georgia); wife, Mary Bessie Thigpen; brothers, Waller and Sam Stapleton.
