Misc. Notes
The Ezekiel Harris House was built in 1797 and was the original home of Mr. Harris. He was a prominent tobacco planter. Harris built the town called Harrisburg hoping to rival Augusta, Georgia. The home is very preserved and hasn't changed very little in 200 years. Ref: The Beech Island Historical Society 1997. |
