Ethel Mae Hawkins Banks, Florence, S.C., age 76 died March 21, 1985 in a Florence County nursing home. Wife of Charles Banks. Funeral conducted at St. John's Episcopal Church.  Interment in West View Cemetery.  A Native of Augusta and a member of St. John's Episcopal Church. Survivors: daughter, Mrs. James (Jimmy) F.(Coral) Lyles, Florence; son, John J. "Jack" Banks and a brother Col. W. Blakely Hawkins, Augusta. Waters Funeral Home.
