Bargeron
SARDIS, Ga. - Warren H. "Doc" Bargeron, Sr., 79, died
March 7, 2007. Born in Burke County, Georgia on January 22, 1928 to the late
Hampton Wesley Bargeron and Marie Taylor Bargeron, he had lived in this area all
of his life. Graduated from Sardis High School and attended ABAC to pursue his
veterinary abilities to aid the farmers around Burke County as well as being a
farmer himself. Survived by his wife of 53 years, Betty Becton Bargeron; a
daughter, Kay Mansell of Augusta; a son, Warren Howell Bargeron, Jr. (Patricia)
of Sardis; 2 sisters, Jeanette Chance and Joyce Prince (John) both of Augusta;
granddaughter, Jennifer Mansell; 4 adopted grandchildren, Maria, Jesse, Carlos,
and Carmen Bargeron. Interment in Sardis Baptist Cemetery. (Credit
