Doyle

Earnest "Monk" Doyle, 59, Sardis, Ga., died at his residence 4-8-1975.  Funeral conducted at Bay Branch Baptist Church and the interment in the church cemetery.  A native of Screven County and was a merchant in Burke County.  Survivors include his widow, Gaynell Hillis Doyle, Sardis; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Lee and Mrs. Betty Carol Lee, Sylvania; six sons, Luther E. Doyle, Franklin Doyle, Marion Doyle and Elmon Doyle Sylvania, Gene Doyle, Atlanta, and James Doyle, Thomasville, Ga.; seven sisters, Mrs. Nita Mock and Mrs. Sybil Wilson, Port Wentworth, Ga., Mrs. Nina Walena and Mrs. Lillian Taylor, Sylvania, Mrs. Bernice Martin and Mrs. Bea Soaers, Savannah, and Mrs. Maxie Sheppard, Beaufort, S.C.;one brother, Sammy Doyle, Alabama; and a step mother, Myrtline Doyle, Sylvania.  Jarrell Funeral Home in charge.
