Glover
Carrie C. Glover, 80 died at the University Hospital in Augusta. A native of Jefferson County, lived in Louisville for the past three years and was a former resident of Wrens. The daughter of the late Sidney and Willie Farrer Whitehead. Her husband fought in the Civil War on the side of the Confederacy. Interment in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church cemetery, Avera, Ga. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. R. S. Cawley of Salt Lake City, Utah; three sons, G. G. Glover, Augusta, Clarence W. Glover, Louisville and Edward W. Glover; a sister. Mrs. Clara Newsome of Aiken, SC; a brother, Will Whitehead of Stapleton.
Frances Laurens Glover, age 53; died suddenly of a heart attack on October 28, 1935. A Walterboro machinist. He died while visiting his mother at her home, Mrs. Joseph Edward Glover. Member of the First Baptist Church, Walterboro, Ga., where he was a pastor. Husband of Lillie Ruth Hudson Glover; a son, Joseph Edward Glover, Fort Screven, Ga.; six daughters, Mrs. Legare Smoak, Cummings: Mrs. Nicholas Pinckney, Charleston, Sc., and Mrs. Harold Muckenfuss, Miss Donnie Glover, 18: Miss Thelma Glover, 15, and Miss Dorothy Gray Glover, 12, all of Walterboro; brother, L. N. Glover; two sisters, Mrs. W. T. Warren and Mrs. E. Hubster of Walterboro.
George Madison Glover, Infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Glover, died at 1 o'clock yesterday. The funeral conducted at Langley Methodist Church, Langley, South Carolina, Aiken County, Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Interment in Langley Cemetery. (The Augusta Chronicle, Saturday, 1-1-1927)
Walter Glover, age 64, died at University Hospital yesterday after an illness of six months. Funeral conducted at R. E. Elliott and Sons Funeral Chapel. Interment in the West View Cemetery. He is survived by one brother, Samuel Glover; one uncle, Joseph Glover, and two aunts, Mrs. Mary Glover, of Augusta, and Mrs. Eliza Cameron, of Atlanta, Georgia.
