
Landrum
Jake S. Landrum, 85, of Gibson died Dec. 19, 2006, at MCG Hospital in Augusta. Mr. Landrum was a native and life-long resident of Glascock County. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and First Baptist Church of Aiken. Funeral services conducted Dec. 22 at Magnolia Baptist Church Cemetery, Gibson. Survivors include two sons, Wayne and Carol Landrum, Gibson, and Denny and Linda Landrum, Spartanburg, SC; one daughter, Donna Pearson, Gibson; one sister, Ethel Davis, Thomson. Sheppard Funeral Home in charge. The Jefferson Reporter.
James Henry Landrum, 55, a Louisville City Patrolman was killed by a gunman, Gerald P. Beaucaire, 24, of Dorchester, Mass., on March 29, 1956. Mr. Beaucaire was also killed by posee, Waynesboro, Georgia. Survivors include his two daughters, Mrs. Robert Henson and Mamie Lou Landrum both of Louisville, Georgia. Two sons, James F. Landrum, Byron, Georgia and George A. Landrum of Essington, Pa. Two sisters, Mrs. F. L. Thigpen, Greenville, S.C. and Mrs. Lewis Usry, Stapleton, Georgia. and a brother, Louis Landrum of Kingsland, Georgia. Mr. Landrum was the husband of Willie Frances Sheppard Landrum. (TAC)
