Mary Alice Parrish McNair - Native of Jefferson County, Ga., died 5-12-1941.  Interment in Reedy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.  Lived with her daughter, Mrs. E. S. Ivey, Gainesville, Florida for several years prior to her death.  Widow of the late James Sidney McNair.  Other children: R. Lee McNair, Wrens,Ga.,  J. D. McNair, Lake Wales, Florida, J. L. McNair, Marion, Florida; brothers, Roombs Parrish, Augusta, Ga, Ollie Parrish, Charleston, SC, C. H. Parrish, Wrens, Ga; sister, Mrs. Lula Gay, Augusta, Ga.

Andy David McNair - Mitchell, Ga., age 66, farmer died September 22, 1936 of a heart attack. Funeral conducted at the Reedy Creek Baptist Church and the interment in the churchyard cemetery.  Mr. McNair was found dead in his bed.  A native of Jefferson County he moved to Mitchell 16 years ago.  Survivors: three daughters, Miss Pearlie McNair, Mrs. Leonard Hilson and Mrs. Thomas Snider of Mitchell; two sons, Fred McNair of Avera, Ga., and Sam McNair of Mitchell; one sister, Mrs. Charlie Phillips of Wrens, Ga., and five grandchildren.

Jack McNair - of Wrens was killed 10-11-1936 when his motorcycle ran into a car on Milledgeville Road near Augusta.  Interment in Wrens Cemetery.  He is survived by his father, T. J. McNair; brother, Ellis McNair; sister, Miss Emily McNair all of Wrens.

James Daniel McNair - Waynesboro, Ga., died May 10, 1940 at his residence after an extended illness. A native of Jefferson County, but had made Waynesboro his home for the past 30 years, he was a contractor and an accomplished cabinet maker.  A member of the Baptist church, a Mason, a Shriner, a Knights of  Pythias. At the time of his death he was secretary of the Waynesboro Masonic Lodge 274 F. and A. M., and had served in this capacity for over 15 years. He was a past high priest of Lester Chapter No. 76.  He was also a keeper of records and seals of Waynesboro Lodge No. 96 of Knights of Pythias.  Funeral services held with full Masonic rites from the First Baptist church.  Interment in the Keysville, Ga., cemetery.  He is survived by two sons, G. B. McNair, of Gough, Ga., and Metts McNair, Matthews, Ga.; one sister, Miss Mary McNair of Waynesboro; one brother, R. S. McNair of Argan, New Mexico; two granddaughters, Mary Elizabeth and Barbara Ann McNair of Gough; one grandson, G. B. McNair, Jr., of Gough, Ga.  Note: The Cemeteries of Jefferson County Ga 1794-2000, by Leroy Lewis, list him as being born December 13. 1884. 

Neva Abbott McNair, 86, Stapleton, Ga, died February 26, 1966 in Keysville, Ga., after an extended illness.  Interment at Stapleton Baptist Church.  Native of Warren County. Daughter of the late Vincent Augustus and Eliza Jane Thompson.  Member of Stapleton Baptist Church, The Women's Missionary Society and Fidelis Sunday School. She was the former Sunday school teacher. Survivors- two sons, L. R. McNair, Twin City and J. L. McNair, Stapleton; one sister, Mrs. H. C. Lee, Sylvania.
