Sol F. McTier, age 82 of Stapleton, Ga died in a Louisville, Ga hospital after an illness of 17 days.  Interment in Waldens Methodist Church cemetery, Avera, Ga. Survivors: wife, Mrs. Early Pope McTier, Stapleton; daughters, Mrs. Rosa Beasley, Stapleton, and Mrs. Janie Hadden, Avera.
