PHILLIPS

Bessie Hadden Phillips, age 77, of Gough died 3-5-1978 in a Burke County hospital. Interment in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Avera, Ga., were she was also a member. A native of Jefferson County, spent most of her life in Burke County.  Survivors include: husband, Eddie T. Phillips; daughter, Mrs. W. C. Butler, Sr., Gough; sister, Mrs. Berta Brooks, Stapleton, Ga.
