Sanders
Rev. E. A. Sanders, A Methodist minister for some 52 years, died in Dublin, Ga., Sept. 3nd, 1935. Funeral services were held at Centenary Methodist Church, the church where he has been pastor for the past 2 years. Rev. T. A. Pafford, Presiding Elder of the Dublin District, and Rev. J. P. Dell, of the Savannah District, were in charge of the service Sept. 5th at 1:00. Rev. Sanders had been confined to the Dublin hospital, where he underwent a major operation, and died after an illness of 21 days. Interment was in Stapleton Cemetery at 5 p. m. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alice Jackson Sanders, four sons, James J. Sanders, Brooklet, Ga., E. Morris Sanders, Atlanta, Ga.; one daughter, Mrs. J. C. Kilgore, Stapleton, Ga.; one sister, Mrs. J. H. Gilmer, Barwick, Ga., one brother, Edgar Sanders, Dallas, Texas. Rev. Sanders was a former pastor of Wrens and Mount Moriah Charge.
