Thigpen

Amos J. Thigpen, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. C. Williams near Avera on January 12, 1929.  He was 86 years old.  Interment at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.  He was born September 17, 1842.  CSA Pvt. Co. I, 28 GA. Inf, Jeff Greys, March 3, 1862-until end of war. (JR & CJCG)
