Noah Smith Way passed away 9-10-1939 at the home of his half-brother, Mrs. W. H. Godowns in Louisville, Ga at the age of 83.  He was stricken with a heart problem.  Ways Baptist Church was named for his forefathers.  He was the son of George and Narcissa Way.  He leaves 12 children to mourn his death.
