Algie Wren, died at his residence near Wrens, September 18, 1932, after a long illness. A member of Advent Christian Church at Iron Hill, near Dearing, Ga. Funeral services held at Wrens Presbyterian Church and interment in the Wrens Cemetery. - The Jefferson Reporter.

Wren, 73, Wrens, Ga., daughter of the late Floyd L. Norton and
Thelma Black Norton, died December 30, 2006 at Jefferson County Hospital.
Funeral conducted January 3, 2007 at James Funeral Home. Interment
Burial at Wrens Memorial Cemetery. A member of Wrens U.M.C.
Retired from Floyd L. Norton Lumber Company as a bookkeeper. Survivors
include three sisters, Gloria N. Craft, Wrens, Dorothy L. Norton,
Lynchbury, Va. and Jane N. Jones, Wrens; three brothers, Ben W. Norton,
Smyrna, Ga., Sidney W. Norton, Spence C. Norton, from Wrens.
Preceded in death by her two brothers, David Norton and Richard Norton and
one sister, Frances Norton. Pallbearers will be James Paul, Tanny Zeiger,
Glenn Bartell, Billy Weathford, Bob Swan, Hugh Fleming, Leroy Lewis. The

Robert A. Wren, died February 25, 1933, having been stricken with paralysis. He lived a short time after suffering the stroke. Born March 13, 1875. Funeral services conducted at Wrens Baptist Church, of which he was a member. Interment February 26, in Wrens City Cemetery. He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Mrs. H. Huckabee of Ft. Valley, Ga.; four sons, W. J. Wrens, J. Taylor Wren, Robert A. Wren, Jr., and Homer Wren. Robert Blackstone Wren, age 64, died at his residence in Thomson, Ga on August 13, 1924. Born in Jefferson near Wrens, Georgia in 1860. Resided in Jefferson County, Ga until 14 years ago when he moved to Thomson, Georgia. Husband of Nealie Phillips, Warren, County. Three sons, Homer Wren of Augusta, Ga, Marvin Wren of Columbia, S.C., Herbert Wren of Thomson, Ga. Funeral conducted at Zora Church in Glascock County and interment followed in the Church Cemetery.
