Gerety of Topeka, Kansas; 2 sisters, Mrs. Isabel Lucas of Ventura, California and Miss Mary Irene Gerety of Topeka; brothers, James Gerety of Topeka. 

ELLA JOSEPHINE OGLESBY SIKES, daughter of Thomas J. and Ella Oglesby Sikes, died 4/22/1965; burial in Bethel Cemetery; brothers, Zone Sikes, Minus H. Sikes, Midville, Georgia; sisters, Mrs. B. B. McClain and Mrs. Stanley Messex.

GEORGE R. OGLESBY, age 61 of Midville, Georgia died 10/6/1964 in Burke County, Georgia from injuries received in a highway accident in Waynesboro.  He was a native of Emanuel County, Georgia; son of Dan W. and Rachel Johnson Oglesby; sisters, MRS. ROOSEVELT OGLESBY, Midville, Georgia, MRS. LAMAR LYINS, Metta, Georgia, Mrs. Luther Almond, Twin City, Georgia, Mrs. Paul Powell, Clearwater, South Carolina, Mrs. Annie Bell Nasworthy, Midville, Georgia; brothers, Joe A. Oglesby of Midville, Georgia, Danny R. Oglesby of Swainsboro, Georgia and James E. Oglesby of Wadley, Georgia.  Interment in Johnson Cemetery. 

GEORGE W. OGLESBY, died 1/13/1915 in Greenville, Florida; lived in Garfield, Georgia.  He came from Emanuel County, Georgia.  WILLIAM OGLESBY of this County, the well known confederate soldier who lost both his eyes and hands by explosion of a bomb shell died at his residence near Hayneville last Monday morning.  He leaves a wife and several children. Ref: 10/5/1880 Macon Weekly Telegraph; Houston Home Journal.

HATTIE OGLESBY BRAUDA, age 66 of Savannah, Ga, 3/11/1945; funeral services held at a local funeral home yesterday with Rev. John S. Wilder, pastor of Calvary Baptist Temple. Interment at Bonaventure Cemetery; sister, Lois Coward of Summit; brother, W. R. Oglesby.

Born in Screven County, Georgia; daughter of ANTHONY OGLESBY and VIOLA CREWS OGLESBY. lived near Millen, Georgia for 50 years.  Brothers, MIKE OGLESBY, McBean, Georgia, and MIMS OGLESBY, Savannah, Georgia; sisters, Mrs. FRED OLSON, Savannah, Georgia, MRS. ROOSEVELT OGLESBY, SR., died 12/1/1987, Emanuel County hospital.  Native of Jenkins County, Georgia; a farmer and a member of Union Grove United Methodist Church; member of Emanuel County Farm Bureau and Midville Masonic Lodge No. 541; wife, Lueretha Oglesby; sons, James M., Roosevelt, Jr., both of Midville, Georgia and Danny Oglesby of Savannah, Georgia; sisters, Alma Hargrove and Rosa Lee Elmore, Millen, Georgia. Interment in Swainsboro Hines Baptist Church Cemetery.

WILLIAM OGLESBY, Savannah, Georgia, age 50,  died 4/1/1920 at Park View Sanitarium tonight, Sheriff of Tattnall County he has been ill for 9 months, occasionally coming to Savannah, Georgia for treatment.  The body will be shipped to his home tomorrow in Glennville.

WILLIAM OGLESBY, 4 month old son of MR. AND MRS. PAUL OGLESBY died 6/23/1944 at University Hospital, Augusta, Georgia.  Paternal grandparents, MR. AND MRS. A.
