William Okley Smith, age 67 died 9/28/1975 at an Augusta hospital; native of Johnson County, Georgia; member of Burnettown First Baptist Church; wife, Sadie Josey Smith, Burnettown, South Carolina.

Lawson Thrasher Smith, age 64, native of Thomson, Georgia, died 3/8/1938 from an extended illness. He was a former warden for McDuffie and Warren Counties.  His wife, Mrs. Janie Montgomery Smith preceded him in death some time ago.  He is the son of George and Dinah Smith.  Daughters, Mrs. L. H. Dent of Milledgeville, Georgia, Mrs. Howard Farr and Miss Clyde Smith both of Thomson, Georgia; son, George B. Smith of Thomson, Georgia and a brother, C. H. Smith of Thomson, Georgia.
