Everett Station

Everett Station was named for Mr. James Everett Station,
who was the founder of Fort Valley in Peach County.
The station was established where the railroad was built in
the late 1800's, and was changed to the Indian name of
Nakomis at a later date. There is no station there now.
Everett Station was located on the Central of Georgia
Railroad that ran through southern Crawford County.
