Obituary
MRS. FLORENCE GEORGE is Claimed by Death
Mrs. Florence Becham George, widow of John W. George,
died at a local hospital at 12:45 a.m. yesterday after an
extended illness.
Mrs. George, a native of Crawford County, is survived by
three daughters, Mrs. Sawyer, Mrs. Gladys Foster, also of
Macon, and Mrs. Jewell Ellibee of Marianna, Fla.; two
sons, John Cliff George of Macon and Vernard E. George of
Waycross, and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at Memorial Chapel at
11:30 a.m. today with the Rev. Monroe Yarbrough
officiating. Burial will be in Union Church Cemetery in
Crawford County with Memorial Chapel in charge.
