Letter home during Civil War

Nathan was the grandson of Ole John Glover and was born in Crawford County.  Nathan lived in Crawford or the area until his father moved to Alabama in 1842.  He left Crawford County and moved with his family to Barbour County, Al. just across the river from Georgia.

Nathan was an intelligent, educated person as can be seen from the letter he wrote to his brother while serving in the War of the Northern Aggression.  He moved to Bullock County, Al. and owned a business there where he lived until he died.  He is buried at Oak Cemetery in Union Springs, Al.

The will can be found in Union Springs, Al. in Bullock County and has been requested.  Below is the inventory of Nathan's estate.  I have been trying unsuccessfully for over a year to get a copy from the Proabte office in Union Springs, Al. last attempt 1/22/99.
