Mr. Abram B. Paul, a most highly esteemed and worthy citizen of Dooly County, died very suddenly of heart disease on the night of the 9th inst...Mr. Paul was about sixty years of age, and was an exemplary Christian. He was connected with the Methodist Church South for a period of twenty-five years and was Worshipful Master of Drayton Lodge of F. & A.M. for many consecutive terms. His burial took place a THE FAMILY CEMETERY near DRAYTON, with Masonic ceremonies, Mr. James Deese officiating. Mr. Paul was a native of North Carolina, born in Robertson County on November 22, 1815, moved to Georgia in 1830 and was married to Sarah Perry in 1835.

[Note: Thus far, Helen and I have been unable to find the cemetery where Mr. Abram B. Paul is buried. Actually, there are very few known cemeteries near Drayton.
PLEASE RESPOND if you have any ideas on where "The Family Cemetery" of Mr. Paul could be located. THANKS

Abram Paul was born in Robeson County, North Carolina. He was a descendant of a large pioneer family that settled in that area of North Carolina at an early date.  I have done extensive research on the Robeson County Court records and may have some of the Paul family documents among my Revels, West family documents.
