Oakland Cemetery was named by Helen Hudson & myself as the Spradley-Lockerman Cemetery. Mainly because we had asked directions to THE SPRADLEY CEMETERY and we were sent to this location. There are some Spradleys and Lockermans buried so the person giving directions, probably thought that would be the name of the cemetery.
Location: Take Hwy 230, East out of Byromville About half way from Byromville to Unadilla, there will be two dirt road turning from 230 to the left. Take the right fork, fenced cemetery will be on your left.

There is no longer a church there but we feel that Oakland Church once stood nearby. There is an "outhouse" still there.
