About the GAGenWeb Project

Hi Early County researchers! I've changed the way email addresses are kept here. All addresses are in just one place where they can't easily be grabbed by spammers. This also makes it easy to change your email address since I will only need to do it once.

If you have Javascript disabled or your browser/security software will not run Javascript this process won't work for you. Nothing will happen when you click on the link. Older browsers may also have problems.

Once a year I will do a roll call for all the addresses used on the site. If yours bounces back to me I will try to find a current address for you by using internet searches and I'll use it to email you for verification. I will have to remove your email link if I can't find an active email address for you so please let me know when your email address changes.

If you have problems clicking on a name please use the address below to contact me:

genealogy~at~southern-roots.us (change ~at~ to @ )

Be sure to include the name of the person you want to contact and I'll forward their email address to you.

I know it's not a perfect solution but it's better than before and I'm still tuning the process. There's more changes to come so stay tuned...

Your help is needed in getting more Early County data available online. Write your family's history and send it to be included in the new Family History page. Do you have pictures of places and people of Early county that you would like to share with others? Visiting a cemetery in Early County? Transcribe the information and share it with others who can't get there. Let other researchers know who you are tracing by adding your family names to the surname page. Do you have Confederate Pension files, deeds, wills or marriage licenses for any of your ancestors? Transcribe them and share with those cousins you may not yet know. They may also have information for you!

Please notify the county coordinator if you find any broken web site links or if the email you have sent to someone listed on this county bounces.
