John Bailey born near Wilmington, N. C. His parents moved to Georgia beginning 18th century, settled near Sandersville. He married May May near Sandersville. John Bailey's parents were John and Judah Bailey. After death of John Bailey, Sr., his widow, Judah Bailey married Thomas Collins. Judah Bailey Collins died Nov. 6, 1839. Thomas Collins died March 1842. Both are buried in Bailey Family Cemetery at Bailey's Mill on Columbus Road, Macon, Georgia.

Judah Bailey Collins and Thomas Collins had the following children:

Robert Collins who married Eliza C. Smith (1800-1861)
Charles Collins, b. 1797, d. 1865 married Sophia F. Rossetter on 1/1/1835 at Macon, Ga.
William Collins married Latisher McElmurray
