Visit the probate court for marriage and estate records of deceased ancestors - open from 8-5 M-F. (Always call first to ensure availability).
There is a copying charge for records, so make sure to ask the $ amount.

Check the Georgia News site, the Georgia Messenger has articles on Bibb County residents and incidents. (Make sure to scroll all the way down to the bottom for the complete list of newspapers.
