Mailing Lists: Electronic mailing lists are like having a large group of pen-pals all around the world except you can send a message to all of them at one time, with no postage <smiles>. The electronic mailing lists for genealogy allow genealogy and history topics and some allow other items, make sure to read the list rules that are sent to you when you subscribe, and remember to use Netiquette when using mailing lists. The Jefferson County, Georgia list is a mailing list to share genealogy and history information with other researchers, to ask questions regarding your research and to generally coordinate with other researchers for Jefferson.
