To sons, HOWELL, WILEY, GILBERT HIGHT and daughters, SALLY JOHNSON, POLLY CRENSHAW, SUKEY GRIERSON and ANNE SHEFFIELD, one eighth of his estate each. To son, JULIUS HIGHT, $30.00 in cash. Page 31: DEWBERRY, IRBY, SR. Last Will and Testament dated Jan. 8, 1816; probated Feb 5,1816. Gives all his estate to his wife, MARY, for her lifetime or widowhood, then to be divided between children, ELIZABETH, wife of BENJAMIN WYNNE, FRANCES wife of CLEMENT WYNNE, the three daughters of SARAH WYNNE, dec’d., former wife of PETER WYNNE, viz. Last will and testament of Ann Coram Dec'd Georgia, Warren County.

In the name of God amen.

I Ann Coram being low of body but of sound mind and disposing memory do make, constitute and ordain this my last will and testament.

1st. I will that all my just debts be paid.

2nd. I will and bequeath unto Thomas Coram all that tract or parcel of land situated in the 10th District in the first section in the County of Lee containing two hundred two and a half acres which is known and distinguished in the plan of said district by the number (206). It being a tract of land that I drew. In witness whereof I do here set my hand on this 11th of April 1829.

Last will and testament of William Coram dec.

In the name of God amen.

I William Coram being low of body, but of sound mind and disposing memory, do make, constitute, and ordain this my last will and testament.

1st. I will that all my just debts be paid.

2nd. I will and bequeath unto my beloved wife, Ann Corum (sic), during her natural life, the tract of land where I now live, together with my stock and plantation utensils. I further give unto my beloved wife all my household furniture forever; except such as is otherwise disposed of by this will.

3rd. After the death of my beloved wife I give and bequeath unto Thomas Corum (sic) all my estate both real and personal, that is not otherwise disposed of, forever.

4th. I will and bequeath unto William M. Corum (sic), after the death of my beloved wife, the following artacles (sic), viz. my large family Bible, my bed, bed sted (sic), and furniture; one table, and chest; painted red; and my shotgun. If any of these articles should be sold, it is my wish Thomas Coram, his father, should keep the money untill(sic) the boy comes of age of twenty one; and then give it to the said William M. Coram.

5th. I do hereby appoint, constitute and ordain Ann Coram, Thomas Coram, and Robert Lazenby my executors; and executrix, to this my last will and testament. Signed with my hand and sealed this 30th of March, 1821.

Davis and being duly sworn saith w/un oath that they saw William Coram sign and acknowledge the withon will, and further they say upon oath that they believe the said Wm Coram was of sound mind and disposing memory, they further say that John Farr requested Robert Lazenby to sign his name as a witness, and saw John Farr make his mark as such. Sworn to me in open court 10th Sept. 1821.

PETER HODOSON

Warren County Wills 1793-1811, page 46, County Courthouse, Warrenton, GA.

In the name of God Amen. I, PETER HODOSON, of the State of Georgia, Warren County, being in common health and sound memory but calling to mind the uncertainty of this life do make and ordain this my last will and testament and first of all I give my soul into the hands of God that gave it me and my body to be buried in a Christian-like manner and what worldly goods it hath been pleased God to indow me with I dispose of them followith:

First of all I constitute and ordain my beloved sons to wit PETER HODOSON and RICHARD HODOSON my beloved sons my ?? executors and administrators of this my last will and testament. Then I give and bequeath unto my beloved son RICHARD HODO one hundred and fifty acres tract of land where I now live only one third of said, houses and plantation excepted for the use of my beloved wife SUSANNAH HODO during her natural life in widowhood and if she should marry or at her decease the whole of said land and premises to belong to my beloved son Richard Hodo and also I further give unto my beloved son RICHARD HODO all my plantation tools and all my hoggs and waggon and two horses named Dick and Jack.

Then I give and bequeath unto my beloved son PETER HODO one young horse named Lon. I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife SUSANNAH HODO the remainder part of my estate during her natural life in widowhood and then to be equally divided among my children to wit ANN CORAM, ELIZABETH CULLERS, PETER HODO, MARY CODAY, RICHARD HODO, only one bed excepted, I give unto NATHANIEL HODO, son of RICHARD HODO.

Witness my hand and seal this Twentieth Six day of May in the year of our Lord, One Thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety Nine.

Last Will & Testament of Isaac Hart, Sr b. 2/20/1773..d 711/1844 Married Sarah Buffington 5/10/1795

Georgia, Warren County, In the name of God amen. Know all whom it may concern that I, Isaac Hart, Senior, of the state and county aforesaid, being weak and infirm of body but of sound mind and disposing memory & knowing that it is appointed to all men once to die & after this the judgement: do make this my last will & testament, as follows to wit, & first I give my love to God that gave it. Me, & my body to the Earth to be buried in decent Christian burial not doubting but that I shall receive the same reunited at the great & dreadful day of Judgement, & as touching such worldly Estate as it has pleased God to bless me with, in this life, I want the same disposed of in the following manner to wit.

1st It is my desire that each of my daughters namely Sarah Adkins Phoebe Peebles, Mary Hobbs, Milbry Hobbs & Elizabeth Tarry (their heirs) keep and have the negro girls & their increase that I have already given them upon them that is my daughters marriage & which they now have in possession.

2nd I give & bequeath unto each of my daughters to wit. Sarah Adkins, Phoebe Peebles, Mary Hobbs, Milbrv Hobbs & Elizabeth Tarry & their heirs the Sum of one hundred dollars each to be paid to them by my Executor herinafter to be named said money to be paid out of my Estate.

3rd I give & bequeath unto my son Samuel Hart & his heirs one half of a tract of land containing together two hundred & fifty acres more or less. Said land was purchased by, me at public sale of the estate of Solomon Newsom deed. the dividing line to be run from North to South parallel with the original lines of S. tract & Samuel Hart to have the west end which joins his land where he now lives.

4th I give & bequeath to my son Barnabus Hart & his heirs Seven Hundred dollars, six hundred of which is paid, the remaining hundred to be paid to him by my executor.

5th I give & bequeath to my son Isaac Hart & his heirs seven hundred dollars of which is already paid.

6th I give & bequeath to my son William Hart & his heirs one tract of land (lying on the North side of the above mentioned two hundred & fifty acre tract)containing two hundred & seventy six acres more or less, conveyed to me by deed from Wiley Herndon also one bed & furniture, & also one hundred dollars to be paid to him out or my Estate by my Executors.

7th I give & bequeath to my son Vincent Hart & his heirs Seven Hundred dollars to be paid to him by my Executors out of my Estate, also one bed & furniture & two cows & calves.

8th I give & bequeath to my son Solomon Hart & his heirs one hundred dollars in addition to what I have already given him said hundred dollars to be paid to him out of my Estate by my Executors.

9th It is my desire that all of my property both real & personal not mentioned in this will be my Executors equally divided among all my children & their heirs to wit; (I) Sarah Adkins, (2) Phoebe Peebles, (3) Mary Hobbs, (4) Milbry Hobbs, (5) Elizabeth Tarry. (6) Samuel Hart (7) Barnabus Hart, (8) Isaac Hart, (9) William Hart, (10) Vincent & (II) Solomon Hart.

10th I do hereby constitute & appoint Aaron Adkins my son-in-law & my son Isaac Hart my Executors of this last will & testament to execute the same at their discretion aftending to the tenor & language thereof & I do hereby revoke all other wills heretofore made by me, as witness my hand & seal, this 27th day of January, 1838.

On July 1, 1844, the last will & testament of Isaac Hart, Sr. is recorded. Executors are Aaron Adkins and Issac Hart, Jr. On November 4, 1844, land not specified in the will of Issac Hart, Sr., is ordered sold by Aaron Adkins and Isaac Hart, Jr.(exeeutors)

         "p. 23:  CHARLES MEDLOCK.  Last Will and Testament, dated Dec. 9, 1796;
                  probated Jan 2, 1797.  Gives to his wife, AGATHA, a horse, saddle and
                  his household goods outright, and also his slaves Jane and Dinah for her
                  lifetime and at wife's death said Dinah to become the property of his son,
                  GEORGE, and his daughter, ANN JORDAN, to have the said Jane.  To his
                  granddaughter, POLLY JORDAN, he gives his slave Violet.  To his
                  grandson, CHARLES MEDLOCK, he gives his slaves Will and Richmond 
                  together with horse, bedding, &c., to remain in possession of testator's son, 
                  GEORGE, until CHARLES becomes of age.  To granddaughter, SUSAN 
                  MEDLOCK, he gives his slaves Adam and Eve on the same condition.  
                  To his granddaughter, AGATHA HALEY, he gives a slave named Millie on 
                  the same terms.  To his granddaughter, POLLY MEDLOCK, he gives his 
                  slave Tamar.  Executors: wife, AGATHA, son, GEORGE MEDLOCK, and 
                  son-in-law, WILLIAM JORDAN.  Witnesses: JOSEPH HOWELL, JAMES 
                  TAYLOR, and GEORGE TAYLOR."

          "p. 43:  GEORGE MEDLOCK.  Last Will and Testament dated Oct 2, 1800; no
                 date of probate shown.  Gives to daughter POLLY when 18 years of age, a slave
                 named David; to his daughter AGATHA, when she becomes 18, two slaves; 
                 to son GEORGE deLAFAYETTE all his real estate when he is 21; all of said
                 property to remain in possession of wife, FERIBEE, during her widowhood; she to
                 receive one-fourth of estate if she marries.  Executors:  EZEKIEL SMITH
                 and JOHN SMITH, and son, GEORGE MEDLOCK, when he becomes of age.  
                 Witnesses: WILLIAM BARDEN, JR., GEORGE TAYLOR, & ASA CASTLEBERRY."

      p. 372: First Minute Book - Warren Inferior Court, Jan 2, 1797 - The will of GEORGE 
                 MEDLOCK was proved by testimony of JAMES TAYLOR and GEORGE
                 TAYLOR, subscribing witnesses, and letters testamentary ordered to issue to GEO.

      p. 375: First Minute Book - Warren Inferior Court, Feb 9, 1801 - The will of GEORGE 
                 MEDLOCK, dec'd. was proved by the oath of GEORGE TAYLOR, a
                 subscribing witness, and admitted to record.

      p. 389: First Minute Book - Warren Inferior Court, Nov 1, 1813 - The Clerk of the Court 
                 of Ordinary of Hancock Co., received and recorded the estate proceedings in 
                 the matter of the GEORGE MEDLOCK estate which had been transferred there.
