Below is same person, different obit.
On Dec. 18, 1905 the Death Angel visited our community and took from us our beloved friend, Miss Kate Allen, after a life of 36 years. She lived among us all her life, and, by her sweet disposition and gentle manner, she won the love and esteem of all who knew her. Truly a woman of noble character was she, ever displaying in a quiet and modest way the blessedness of the christian religion. Though she has gone from her home, her husband, and her friends, she is not dead but liveth in that bright world above where all is joy and peace. She had been in bad health a long time but was never heard to murmur, and at the last threw up her hands and said: "Oh, what a blessing to be faithful to the end!" "Tis hard to break the tender chords, When love has bound the heart, Tis hard, so hard to speak the words: "We must forever part." This is signed "One who loved her." (Calhoun Times Mar 15, 1906)
