Jennie H. Tate KIKER, died December 13, 1941. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Walt Tate and Mary Wood Tate. Mrs. Kiker is survived by her husband, W. P. Kiker; two children, William Kiker and Miss Mable Kiker; step-children, Irwin Kiker, Mrs. Allen Jones, Miss Irene Kiker, Mrs. L. J. LaSure, and Frank Kiker; brothers and sisters, Miss Fannie Tate, Miss Cecil Tate, Mrs. Mattie Gilbreath, Mrs. Jim Greeson, John Tate, and Henry Tate. Funeral services were held December 14, 1941 from the First Methodist church with Rev. J.T. Eakes, Rev. William H. Gardner and Dr. Warren G. Cutts officiating. Pallbearers were Dr. J. H. Boston, A.B. David, Fred Daves, J. C. Owen, C. Pruitt Nelson, J. C. Fite, J. H. Starr and O. C. Langford. Interment was in Fain Cemetery.

John Cage KIKER, born 1814, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, son of Charles and Amelia Minyard Kiker. Mr. John Kiker, one of our oldest and most highly respected citizens, died at his home in Gordon County Georgia last Sunday evening on August 16, 1903. He was 91 years old and had been in a very feeble condition for several years. He was laid to rest in the family burying ground, Kiker Cemetery, near home Monday afternoon. Rev. H. M. Strozier conducted the funeral services. {Calhoun Times Aug 27, 1903}

Minnie Bell Kiker Roe KIKER, 78, of Whitfield County, Dalton, Georgia died July 13, 1986. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Homer and Leila Byrd Kiker. Survivors include her husband, Julian D. Kiker, Sr.; step-daughter Mrs. Robert Albritton; stepson Julian D. Kiker, Jr.; sister and brother-in-law Bertha and Taylor T. Lewis; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Nell Brackett Shuler and Mrs. Willene Williams; seven step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held July 15, 1986 from the Bradley Anderson Memorial Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Lloyd Guffey conducting the service. Pallbearers included Gerald Patterson, Bob Albritton, Jim Richards, Buddy Fox, Thomas Clements and D. F. Williams. Interment was in Fain Cemetery.

William Polk KIKER, 91, died in Gordon County, Calhoun, Georgia on March 25, 1958. He is the son of William Russell Kiker and Mary M. Sloan Kiker. Survivors include four daughters, Miss Irene Kiker, Mrs. E. J. Baker, Mrs. A. V. Jones, and Mrs. Lester LaSure; two sons, William Kiker and Frank Kiker; one brother, Clyde Kiker; two sisters, Mrs. Natalie Swanson and Mrs. Antionette Barnett; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held March 26, 1958 from the First Methodist Church and were conducted by the Rev. A. B. Ellizer and the Rev. H. E. Holland. Pallbearers were Fred Daves Jr., J. B. Nelson, Rice Erwin, W. V. Owen, Warren Fite and Clay Fox. Interment was in Fain Cemetery. Combs Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
