I am researching the Hendersons, also and I thought I might be able to help you out.
From Georgia Genealogical Magazine, Winter 1970, #35: pg 24, Habersham County, GA, James Henderson appoints Arthur Alexander his attorney to obtain grant of land, 1st District, Henry County, drawn by Synthia Haney, widow of Moses, of Capt Tamils District, Habersham Cty, GA, being in District 60. May 20, 1822, signed Jos. Henderson, wit Miles Davis.
Also, Habersham Cty, GA Land Deed, Book B, January 15, 1823, Henry Kendall to Alar William to lot 47, of 3rd District. Wit James Henderson, M. Howell, etc.
I have penciled in Alair Williams as the father of Synthia Williams. She married Moses Haney who apparently died and then she married our James Henderson. Alair is a very unusual name and it goes down the family tree after Synthia. I suspect that is because Alair Williams was her dad.
