In the name of God amen.
I, James M. Bell Senior of said County being of advanced age ans knowing I must depart this life deems it right and proper both as respects my family ans myself that I should make a distrubution of the property with which a kind providence has blessed me do therefore make this my last will and testament hereby revoking all others heretofore made by me.
1st – Item – I desire and direct that my body be buried in a Christian likemanner sutible to my circumstances and conditions in life – My soul I trust shall return to be with God who gave it as I hope for Eternal Salvation through the merits and atonement of the blessed Lord and Savior Jesus Christ whose religion I have professed and as I humbly trust enjoyed for thirty years.
2nd item – I desire and direct that all my just debts be paid without delay by my excecutors hereinafter appointed as I am unwilling my creditors should be delayed in their rights especially as there is no necessity for delay.
3rd item - give bequeath and devise to my beloved wife Nancy with whom I have lived in the strictest quiet for forty one years Lot of land the place whereon I live nowcontaining 4oo acres more or less with all the rights members ans appurtenances to said lot of land in any wise belonging for and during her natural life only.
4th item- I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Nancy for and during her natural life only my Negro Boy Quilen of dark complection about twenty two years of age also all my stock of horses, cattle, sheep , goats, and hogs, farming tools of every description, household and kitchen furniture of every descriptions. –
5th item- The residue of my property both real and personal wherever and whatever it may be including that given to my beloved wife during her natural life and after her estate is over I give bequeath and devise to be equally devided amoung all my children.
6th item – I hereby constitute and appoint three of my beloved sons Excecutors of this my last will and testament viz Francis Cicero, Amsalem Manning, James Mitchel the second day of July 1859.

Be it known that I Zachariah Bell now in reasonable health and of proper mind having heretofore given to those of my children , to wit Deboria and Martha and Kizey and Dianah the portion of my estate that I desire them to have , and my last will ans testament is that in addition to what my aforesaid daughters Deboria Martha Kisey and Dinah have received that after my death they shall have one dollar each to be raised out of my estate that may them be left the balance of my estate both real and personal I will and design for my wife Sarah to have and to use and to have the benefits of in any way she may wish during her life and at her death my will I wish is that my daughter Mary Jane shall have and take into possession of the whole of said estate that may remain.
