JONES,MORRIS,THOMPSON,MILLER CEMETERY

Cemetery survey done January 7, 2001 by Vicky Chambers The cemetery is located about 1 mile east of Joe Chandler Road on East Hall Road. The physical address is 4344 East Hall Road, Gainesville , Ga. It is about 100 yards behind the home of Larry and Sonya Pavkovich. The Pavkovich family is very helpful but were quick to tell me that they did not own the cemetery. It is behind their property line. It is owned by an as yet undetermined gentleman. The only thing Mr. Pavkovich could remember was the man at one time owned Acme Exterminating in Gainesville. Mr. Pavkovich encourages family or historians to visit the cemetery. His only request is call and schedule something with he or Sonya or use the old road instead of his property to access the cemetery. If you take the old road bed , park on the side of the road and walk following the old road until it forks. At the fork look to the left and you will see the tombstones. Most of the tombstones are in good repair. It is totally wooded and needs to be cared for. On my search I discovered 5 unknown graves. It was clear it was a grave. Each one has a Head and foot rock with no information carved on the stones.
