This is the "Estate" of James Cameron Blanton, Sr. From left to right are: James Cameron Blanton, Jr., Edward James Blanton, Thomas Grey Blanton, and Mrs. James Cameron Blanton, Sr. This farm was adjacent to Shady Grove Baptist Church and included Lots (or portions of Lots) numbered 143, 144, 150, 151, 152, 166, 167, & 193 in Section 20 of Harris (formerly Muscogee) County. James Cameron Blanton's father and mother owned property west of highway 103 (West Point Highway) and north of what is now Blanton Creek Park, near the river.
