The Jesse Cox Cemetery is located in Fortson, Harris Co., Ga., north of Columbus, Muscogee Co., Ga. Driving north from Columbus on I-185 take Exit #19 at Mulberry Grove. Turn left onto Highway 315 and the cemetery is approximately 1 mile on the right at the intersections of Highway 315 and Kennon Road. The cemetery is located at the rear of the house known as the Cox Farm. The family presently living in the house is very nice and will be glad to let you tour the cemetery.
