Little Bryan died 1836 before Macon County was formed in 1837. His Estate
papers were already being processed in Houston County, Ga. and continued to be
filed there although his residence and place of death and burial had by then,
become a part of Macon Co., Ga.
Deed of Settlement found in Houston Co., Ga. Deed Book "G" page 607. Dated
2-28-1839.
Littleton Bryan died in then, Houston Co., Ga. in 1836, on property that later
became Macon Co., Ga. and he is buried there. Probably the reason this deed is
filed in Houston Co., Ga. rather than Macon Co., Ga.
