EMILE ELLIS ZAHRA, SR.
Emile Ellis Zahra, Sr. 59 of 1250 Ardsley Road, Jacksonville, Florida, died
Tuesday, January 16, 1973 following a brief illness. He was a lifelong resident
of Jacksonville, a graduate of Landon high School, and a Veteran of World Warr
II. He was a member and ruling elder of the South Jacksonville Presbyterian
Church, a member of San Jose Country Club and the River Club. He was a
manufacturers' representative.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Fokes Zahra; his mother, Mrs. Hazel
Zahra; two sons, E. Ellis Zahra, Jr. and Robert Fokes Zahra; one daughter, Miss
Dorothy Lewis Zahra and a sister, Mrs. Lorese Livingston, all of Jacksonville.
Funeral services were held at 11 AM Thursday in the South jacksonville
Presbyterian Church with Dr. T. Robert Fulton officiating. Burial was in OAKLAWN
CEMETERY in Jacksonville.
Mrs. Zahra is the former Dorothy Fokes, daughter of Mrs. Robert Engram Fokes,
Sr. and the late Mr. Fokes of Montezuma.

Willie Mae Zoellner, age 94, of Riverbend Road, Franklin, NC, died Saturday,
June 2, 2001 in Angel Medical Center. She was a native of Macon County and was
the daughter of the late Robert L. and Mary Jacobs Hall. She was married to
Adolph Zoellner, who died in 1986. She was a homemaker and a member of Memorial
United Methodist Church.
Surviving is a sister, Edna Belle Stockton of Franklin, three nieces, three
nephews and a number of great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 5 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bryant
Funeral Home. Rev. Keith Newell officiated. Burial was in the Carson Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Adolph and Bruce Conley, Maurice Stockton, Steve Cabe, Mike and
Don Pendergrass, David Pangle and Jerry Cook. The family received friends one
hour prior to services. At other times, the family will be at the Rebecca
Reynolds residence, 2382 Old Murphy Road, Franklin.
