Macon Co., Ga. Will Book A Pg. 336 May 15, 1896
I, EVELINE GAMAGE of Macon County, calling to mind the uncertainty of life and
feeling at present, weak in body but
sound in mind and being desireous of disposing of the worldly estate that God
has been pleased to bless me with do make and ordain this my last Will &
Testament.
ITEM 1st - Executor pay debts and funeral expenses,soon.
ITEM 2nd - My oldest daughter, SALLY WILLIAMS, now
being on my place in Russell Co., Ala. having at the date of this Will already
had possession of said place for about six years, without paying any rents,
except taxes & I desiring
that she keep possession of the place without paying rent until my death & that
the rents which would be due (to wit: $50.00 for each year be allowed her as her
full share in my restate & that at my death, she turn over my place (80 Acres)
to my Executor. The rents she would have paid to
be her full share.
ITEM 3rd - My son-in-law, J. D. MASSEE, received from me a Note for $150.00 with
Int. @7% from Oct 1894 . He
was the maker & signer. The note & int. be deducted from
J.D.Massee's share of my estate.
ITEM 4TH - My son, John H. Gammage, Gussie Taylor & my Grandchildren to wit:
Oscar,Oliver, George, Nellie &
Annie Kerwalski, share & share alike, equally in the residue
of my estate, The Kerwalski grandchildren drawing one share.
ITEM 5TH - Son, John H. Gammage & my daughter, Gussie Taylor, he & she hereby
appointed & constituted as Executor & Executrix of my will.
