Macon County

Located in a field at the junction of Highway 127 and County road 301 on the west side of the county road.

There are no visible markers in an 8'x 8' wrought iron enclosure. The gate plaque indicates that the
fence was manufactured by the Stewart Iron Works. Third and Colvert Streets, Cinnacinati, Ohio.

Irma Chapman, who owned the property, said that vandals destroyed the markers in the latter 1970's.

The 1880 census shows William Lawson, age 67, and Ann Lawson, age 60, residing at this location.
Since there were only 2 markers in this enclosure, we presume that they are William & Ann.
