Deed Book "C", Macon County, states that on 5 October, 1869, 1 acre of land was set aside on the
Smith Plantation for a Family Cemetery. The piece of property located on Hogcrawl Creek.

* The 5 unmarked graves at the front of the cemetery are probably William, his wife Gracey, and other
family members.
