Miss Lizzie Parks
Miss Lizzie Parks, 65 years of age, died at a private sanitarium at 7 o'clock yesterday evening after a long illness. The deceased, who was a resident of Odessadale, Ga., came to Atlanta several months ago for treatment. She is survived by only a distant cousin, G. H. Hardy, of Odessadale. The body will be shipped to Chipley, Ga., today.(The Atlanta Constitution (Atlanta, GA) 1909-03-22 Page 6)

WEDNESDAY EVENING
MR. ED W. PARTRIDGE DIES AT HOSPITAL HERE
Mr. Ed Winn Partridge, 27, of New York City, formerly a resident of Odessadale, Ga., died Tuesday at a local hospital from an illness of several weeks. He had his birthday last Saturday. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Methodist church in Odessadale, and burial was in the churchyard. Mr. Partridge, who held a responsible position with a corporation in New York, is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Partridge, of Odessadale; four sisters, Mrs. J. V. Keith, Mr. W. S. Evans, and Miss Martha Partridge and Miss Jane Partridge, of Atlanta; one brother, William Partridge of Parris Island, Charleston, South Carolina.

MR. W.B. PARTRIDGE PASSES ON.

Mr. W. B. Partridge, an old and useful citizen of this county, died at his home near Odessadale, this week. He had passed the four score mile post and in the years that came his way he drowded much good into them and scattered many flowers of kindness along the way. He was a farmer all his life and lived on the farm.
Ben Partridge was a good man; a member of the Baptist church, he lived and walked in the realm of righteousness.
He was a representative of one of the best families of the county and a worthy son of [...].
Mr. Partridge is survived by his wife, four daughters, Mrs. J. B.[sic] Keith, and Mrs. Jane Borders, of New York; Mrs. W. S. Evans, of Whitesburg; and Miss Martha Partridge, of Atlanta; and one son, W. H. Partridge, San Diego, Calif; one sister, Mrs. Wade L. Winn, of Belle Glade, Fla; and one brother, Mr. W. F. Partridge, Odessadale.
After funeral services, the mortal remains of this good man, were interred in the cemetery at Odessadale.

MR. WALTER PARTRIDGE SUCCUMBS SATURDAY
(Francis Walton (aka Walt) Partridge)
The death of Mr. Walter B. Partridge, 72, at his home near Odessadale Saturday brought genuine sorrow to a wide circle of relatives and friends. He was a most prominent citizen of the county. The impressive funeral rites were conducted by Dr. Willis Howard, Pastor of 1st Baptist Church of LaGrange Sunday afternoon at Odessadale. Interment following in the local cemetery.
The deceased is surveved[sic] by his widow who was the former Miss Annie Harman and three splendid children namely Misses Dorohy and Leo Partridge who hold lucrative positions in Columbus and one son, Pat, who is a valued employee of the Federal Land Bank in Columbia, S.C.
The Vindicator joins hosts of friends in expressing deepest condolence to the bereaved loved ones.

PEAVY, Mr. John W.
Mr. John W. PEAVY died at his home five miles north of Greenville last Friday and was buried Saturday morning at the family burying ground near the residence of Mr. Virgil Biggers, the brother of Hon. G.L. Peavy, he was born and reared in Meriwether and was about 40 years of age; he married a daughter of Hon. C.W. Williams, his widow and several children surviving him. (Meriwether Vindicator Vol. 19, No. 3, December 12, 1890.)
