Beloved Dallas Lady Celebrates 95th Birthday Sunday, March 1

Born in 1886 in Paulding County, daughter of John Marion Tant and Matilda Ann Lankford Tant, she was the oldest of 13 children. Only one sister, the youngest, Mrs. John (Ora) Teal, 80 years of age, is living. She spent the day with Mrs. Etta on Sunday.

Mrs. Etta was employed at Dallas Hosiery Mill for many years. She has 4 stepchildren and a host of nieces and nephews who love her dearly.

“Aunt Etta”, as she is affectionately called, is in good health except her eyesight is not as good. She is very alert and enjoys cooking and piecing quilts.
