Three Cows, a Calf, a Horse and Male Disappear – The Search;

A.R. Wilson, of Hiram, a Paulding county post office, was in Atlanta yesterday searching for a cow and calf which were stolen from his place Monday or Tuesday.

The cow’s absence was first detected Tuesday, and that day the neighborhood was searched for her, during his search Wilson ascertained that one of his neighbors had seen a man, a stranger to him, driving the cow and calf along the road.

Mr. Wilson immediately began tracing the man and yesterday reached Atlanta, where he acquainted the police department with his ___.

On Thursday morning George Price, a prosperous Negro man who owns three or four mules and ___ as many drays, went to his barn to do his feeding.  When Price opened the barn door he was surprised to find a stall empty, and an investigation disclosed the fact that a bridle had disappeared too.  Price made a careful search yesterday for his mule, but had not succeeded in finding him up to a late hour last night.  Price lives on Rawson Street.

Early yesterday morning Mr. A. McDevitt, who resides near Edgewood, notified the police department that a fine cow had been stolen from her place some time Wednesday night.  The cow is a fine thoroughbred.
