The War on Rye. 

Last Sunday night John Dean, of Paulding county was arrested by Deputy Marshal Hanie for counterfeiting, and is now in the Cedartown jail.  Dean is charged with belonging to the gang composed of Stephens, who is now in the Atlanta jail, Bobo, a refugee from justice, and others. 

It is said Dean made the molds with which the counterfeit dollars recently passed in this city were made.
