A Moonshiner Goes to Jail.

Bartow Roberts, a white man, of Paulding county, was yesterday bound over to the U.S. court by U.S. Commissioner Broyles on the charge of illicit distilling. Roberts gave a $200 bond and returned to his home. He will appear in October. The arrest was made by Deputy Marshal Scott, who says he discovered wagon tracks leading form the still to the house of Roberts. A witness was also secured, who swore that they had seen Roberts working in the still. Judge Broyles thought the evidence sufficient to convict and required a bond.
