Mrs. Roberta Thompson Anderson Passes

Mrs. Roberta Thompson Anderson, age 72, affectionately known as “Bob”; passed away November 4, 2004 at WellStar Paulding Nursing Unit.

Mrs. Anderson was born September 17, 1932 in Covington Kentucky, daughter of the late Otis Lee and Ruby Odell (Harrison) Thompson. She was a member of the Methodist Faith and worked as a Dietician at a Nursing Home.

She is survived by her daughter, Roslyn and Scott Hopkins of Dallas; sons, Benny and Kathy Anderson of Hiram, Bill and Kim Anderson of Villa Rica, and David and Linda Anderson of Marietta; 7 grandchildren; 1 sister, Hazel Kinsey of Hapeville; special friends, Brenda Causey of Dallas and Nena Herrin of Marietta.

In addition to her parents, Otis and Ruby Thompson, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Ben Anderson, Sr.; son, Danny Anderson and sister Helen Holder.

A Memorial Service was held on Monday, November 8, 2004 at the Dallas First Methodist Church with Rev. Warren B. Causey officiating.
