Mrs. Anita George Bass, age 25 of Dallas, Georgia, passed away August 14, 2004 at her residence.

Mrs. Bass was born June 18, 1979 in Paulding County, Georgia, daughter of Melbourne and Brenda (Fuller) George. She was a member of Gateway Baptist Church and was an office attendant for Ogden Forklift Company. Anita graduated from Paulding County High School in 1997.

Survivors include her husband of six years, Mr. David Bass of Dallas; one son, Master Levi Daniel Bass of Dallas; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Melbourne (Brenda) George of Dallas; sister, Mr. and Mrs. Barry (Natalie) Owen of Dallas; niece, Abigail Owen of Dallas; nephew, Master Noah Owen of Dallas; grandmother, Mrs. Betty H. George of Dallas; grandfather, Mr. Jim McDonald of Cumberland, Maryland; grandmother, Mrs. Shirley Buchanan of Cumberland, Maryland; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold (Virginia) Dyer of Villa Rica; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Danny and Sherry Bass of Villa Rica; sister-in-law, Mrs. Miranda Bass; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Mr. M.F. George in 1987.

Funeral services were conducted on Monday, August 16, 2004 at 11:00 am from Benson Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Jeff Byrd and Rev. Larry Argo officiating.

Interment followed in Melrose Hills Memorial Park Cemetery in Villa Rica with Rev. C.T. Warren officiating. Pallbearers were Greg Smith, Lane Hilderbrand, Dorman Mikeal, Donnie Johnson, Todd Warren, C.T. Warren, Jimmy Owen and Jimmy Shoate.

Benson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
