Mr. James Paul Beckham, 67, of 1054 Highway 19 north, died Wednesday, Nov. 18, at his residence.

Graveside services were conducted Friday, Nov. 20, 1987 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Ross Mothershed officiated. Interment was held at New Hope Church Cemetery in Yatesville. Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home was in charge or arrangements.

A native of Upson County, Mr. Beckham was a retired section man from B. F. Goodrich Co. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U. S. Army. He is survived by his two daughters, Ms. Paulette Baker of Marietta and Mrs. Cherry Ivey of Thomaston; son, Mr. Rickey Beckham of Dallas; sister, Mrs. Ruth Burks of Thomaston; four brothers, Mr. John Beckham and Mr. Moses Beckham, both of Madison, Mr. Edward Beckham and Mr. G. C. Becham, both of Thomaston. Six grandchildren also survive.
