Alma T. Brown Passes Away April 3, 2005 Alma T. Brown, 87, of Dallas, Georgia, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2005. She was born July 17, 1917 in Alabama the daughter of Rufus and Miranda King Twilley, was a self employed beautician and a member of Miller’s Chapel Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eugene Johnson Brown, Sr. and siblings, Ann McAdams, Lance Twilley and Lesta Twilley. Surviving are her children, Johnson and Shirley Brown of Pine Log, Phillip and Shirley Brown of Conyers and Pat and Allen Davis of Acworth; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Bill and Melba Twilley of Dallas, Virginia Powell, Delia Hibbard, Jeann Brown, Larry and Randall Twilley and nieces and nephews. Funeral Services were conducted Wednesday, April 6, 2005 at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Owen Funeral Home. Burial followed at White Cemetery with grandsons, Shane Davis, Kyle and Ty Brown, Jacob Devane, Tyler Bishop, Lee Hibbard and Daniel Devane serving as pallbearers. Owen Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
