| James Walter Brown, Sr. Passes Nov. 6 Mr. Kames Walter Brown, Sr., age 63 of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Saturday, November 9, 2004. Born June 9, 1941 in Lewis County, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Walter Jefferson Brown and the late Flora Johns Brown. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, having served during the Vietnam War and he was of the Baptist Faith. He worked as a heavy equipment operator and was a member of the local Union #921. Survivors include his wife, Carol Stephens Brown of Douglasville; two sons and daughter-in-law, James, Jr. and Connie Brown and Terry W. and Kristi Brown, all of Dallas; four sisters, Nina Mathis of Waynesboro, Tennessee, Ruth Scott and Martha Hensley, both of Hohenwald, Tennessee; three brothers, Dale Brown of Hohenwald, Joe Brown of N. Charleston, South Carolina and Ernest Brown of Tampa, Florida; 2 grandchildren, Austin and Chelsea Brown of Dallas; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services were conducted Monday, November 8, 2004 at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home. Jones-Wynn Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. (as appearing in the paper) |
