Mrs. Mildred Faye Johnson Brown Passes

Mrs. Mildred Faye Johnson Brown, age 61, of Rockmart, Georgia, passed away Friday, April 8, 2005.

Mrs. Brown was born January 30, 1944 in Paulding County, daughter of the late Nathan and Pearlie Wright Johnson. She was an employee of Angelica Healthcare Services Group and a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Mr. Charles Johnson and Mr. J. B. Johnson.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband, Mr. John L. Brown, to whom she was married for forty-four years; one daughter, Mrs. Connie Peinado of Canton; four sons, Willard Brown, Johnny Mack Brown, and Stanley Eugene Brown, all of Rockmart and Curtis Lee Brown of Rome; four sisters, Mrs. Betty Jo Hogan and Mrs. Iva Mae Dobbs of Temple, Mrs. Rosa Lee Parish and Mrs. Thelma Bush of Buchanan; three brothers, Lamar Johnson, Donald Johnson of the Yorkville community and Ellis Johnson of Draketown; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Brown were held on Sunday, April 10, 2005 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Freeman Harris Funeral Home with Rev. Wendell Rush, Rev. Phillip Johnson, and Dr.. Mason Bush officiating.

Interment followed in the family lot of Draketown Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Lowell Bush, Jr., Bill Hamrick, Michael Johnson, Tim Johnson, Todd Johnson, Ed Roach and Jesus Peinado.

Freeman Harris Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
